Course Description

This class is perfect for expecting families who are on bed rest, couples with time or scheduling conflicts, or just enjoy the convince of online courses. It is taking a class in the comfort of your own home. This is the same core curriculum as the live Birth Beautifully childbirth class. The topics discussed are:

  • Nutrition
  • Homebirth & hospital birth differences
  • Stages of labor
  • Positions for labor
  • Role of doula and tips for partner
  • Interventions and informed consent
  • Breastfeeding
  • Newborn care
  • Postpartum care
  • Transition to parenthood
  • Cloth diapering

You will be able to work wherever there is access to the internet. The training is broken down into modules, each with videos and presentations. It is designed to feel like you are having a one-on-one conversation with me, verses a stuffy lecture.

Once you register and pay for the class, you will have access for a week period, beginning from the date of your initial use.

Birth Beautifully does not allow you to share your access code with any other families.

The online course includes a PDF version of the Educated Childbirth course book. If you would like a hard copy mailed to you, you can purchase one directly through Birth Beautifully. Please allow 7-10 business days for delivery.

Once you have completed your class, Birth Beautifully recommends you email any questions regarding the related topics to us. It is best to compile all your questions into one email if possible.
